“We Really Just Don’t Know What’s Going On”: Tinsley Mortimer Considering Delaying Her Wedding To Scott Kluth Due To Coronavirus

Real Housewives of New York City star Tinsley Mortimer is considering delaying her wedding to Scott Kluth due to the coronavirus pandemic, she revealed in a new interview.

While promoting the upcoming season of RHONY, Tinsley dished to E! News that the two are currently re-thinking their plans amid all of the global concern over the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

“We were thinking about doing something in Japan,” she told the outlet. “And clearly, anything in Asia was then all of a sudden, completely off limits. You know, when you’re planning anything and you have to think ahead, we’re at a time in our lives right now that we really just don’t know what’s going on and where we can travel and what we can do.”

“And so it’s definitely difficult in this time to plan something and really nail it down,” she continued. “So we’re kind of just waiting to see what’s going to happen with the world. But we have some really good ideas that we can sort of put [in place] once we know really officially when we’re going to be able to travel again and be out.”

In terms of size, the RHONY couple revealed that they are looking to keep things small but that they do want to travel for the occasion.

“We definitely want to do destination in some way,” she said about the location. “You know [having it] in New York or having it in Chicago, we would have to make it very big and we really both want to have it smaller so we think that doing destination we’d be able to make it more intimate and smaller. So that’s our plan. But you never know, we might have to go into like court or something here in Chicago or do it at the home because we can’t leave so God knows. We’ll see.”

Will The Housewives Be Invited?

Like any Bravo-related wedding, RHONY fans are wondering whether any of Tinsley’s co-stars will be invited to the nuptials and it sounds like they have a decent chance — for now.

“Of course I’ve thought about it and I’m not gonna say who I have thought about having, but of course I have thought about it,” she said when asked who would be attending. “And there will most likely will be one or two.”

Tinsley’s response is nothing new to the franchise and reminds us of when Luann de Lesseps kept the women guessing as to who would be invited to her wedding to Tom.

If we had to guess, we’d say that Ramona and Sonja have the best chances of being invited to the wedding due to their place in Upper East Side society and their relationship with Tinsley’s mom, Dale. But with that said, this is RHONY and there’s no telling where all of the women stand with the season set to premiere tomorrow.

Despite Tinsley bringing on Leah McSweeney as her friend on The Real Housewives of New York City this season, rumor has it that Bethenny Frankel was actually the connection to Leah and that producers had to switch to Tinsley once Bethenny decided to walk away from the show.

The Real Housewives of New York City premieres Thursday, April 2 at 9/8c.
