Vicki Gunvalson Confirms Lawsuit Filed Against Her Alleging Fraud Has Been Dropped: ‘Take That, Kelly Dodd!’
As previously reported, Vicki has departed RHOC after 14 years and won’t be featured in the upcoming season.
During her last season on the show, Kelly had accused Vicki of being a con woman after a lawsuit was filed against her alleging fraud but now, that same lawsuit has been thrown out and the veteran Housewife is claiming a win.
In an interview with OK! Magazine promoting her new podcast, Whoop It Up With Vicki, the original Housewife confirmed that the lawsuit has, in fact, been dropped.
“I am excited to share that the case against me was completely dismissed and that there was no wrongdoing on my part,” she said. “Furthermore, the case was dismissed with prejudice, which means it can never be brought back into a trial.”
She continued, “I was not surprised by the results at all, as I knew I had done nothing wrong and that the allegations against me were completely false.”
As RHOC fans will remember, it was this lawsuit that provoked Vicki to file a lawsuit against Bravo, Evolution Media, and Kelly, asking for anything said about the lawsuit to be removed from the show.
“I love the American justice system, because the truth is always revealed. While I’m extremely ecstatic that this is behind me now, I think it should open Kelly Dodd’s eyes,” said Vicki. “Like, take that, Kelly Dodd! She tried to ‘out’ me during the season claiming, falsely again, that I was a ‘con woman.’”
Vicki clearly isn’t impressed with Kelly’s comments and the fact that this lawsuit has been dropped is a clear indication that she was out of line in this scenario. If she continues down this path, her podcast will be a hit right out of the gate.
With Vicki off of RHOC, however, we don’t think Kelly will be all that concerned with what she has to say about their ongoing feud.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return later this year.
