Thomas Ravenel confirmed in a recent interview that he filmed for Southern Charm Season 7, despite previously being fired by Bravo.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Thomas reveals that he filmed for the show while Kathryn Dennis, his ex whom he shares two young children with, was crashing at his house at the beginning of the season.
“I just let them film a little segment with the kids as a favor to Kathryn,” he said, adding that he doesn’t think Bravo will actually include the footage. “I wasn’t paid. At the time, she was staying at my house in the guest room because her house was being painted and was unsafe for her and the kids.”
Romantic connection?
Thomas’ recent comments are interesting because back in February, sources close to the show revealed that he had reignited his romantic relationship with Kathryn, potentially paving the way for him to re-appear on the show, conveniently right as filming was starting up.
Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel may have reunited as cameras rolled on Southern Charm Season 7.
At the time, an Instagram fan page revealed the two were back together before representatives for the couple denied the rumours with a simple “Not true” to Us Weekly.
Season 7 reboot
Southern Charm Season 7 will look quite a bit different when it returns to Bravo in a few weeks time.
Returning for Season 7 are Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Kathryn Dennis, and Austen Kroll, and they are joined by newbies Madison LeCroy, John Pringle, and Leva Bonaparte.
As previously reported, Chelsea Meissner, Naomie Olindo, and Cameran Eubanks all confirmed that they were leaving the show, paving the way for Bravo to refresh the cast and give the show a desperately-needed refresh.
Southern Charm Season 7 premieres Thursday, October 29 at 9/8c on Bravo.
