ITVBe Confirms ‘The Real Housewives Of Jersey’ Will Be Back For Season 2

The series earned big numbers for the ITV Hub.

ITVBe has confirmed that The Real Housewives of Jersey will be back for Season 2 later this summer.

According to the network, filming has already started on Season 2 and we can expect to see the Housewives back in action by the end of the summer.

The network has even released some behind-the-scenes photos of the cast filming scenes for the new season but interestingly enough, only a few of the women were featured.

The pictures released by ITV featured Season 1 cast members Tessa Hartmann, Ashley Cairney, Margaret Thompson, and Kate Taylor, but the cast also starred Mia Ledbury, Hedi Green, and Jane Rayner.

ITV’s blog post confirms there may be some casting changes for the new season, sharing that “cameras have been spotted around the island over the weekend, however sources say not all the leading ladies will be returning – and there could be some new faces joining the cast instead.”

One of the first events of the season is expected to be a summer kick-off party after some of the Housewives took to social media to share pictures from a recent get-together that appeared to be filmed for the show.

Mia Ledbury is set to return for Season 2 after sharing a photo to her Instagram page that clearly showed the crew of RHOJersey filming in the background.

Hedi Green also shared a photo to Instagram recently that could be from the same night of filming, meaning Jane Rayner is the only Season 1 cast member who isn’t yet confirmed as returning if you count these social media posts and the photos ITV released.

RHOJersey is the second U.K.-based Real Housewives franchise after The Real Housewives of Cheshire and dropped its first season on the ITV Hub back in December 2020 before airing weekly on ITVBe. Internationally, the series can be viewed on hayu.

As previously reported, the series debuted to big numbers on the streaming service making Season 2 a no-brainer.

The Real Housewives of Jersey is expected to return this summer.
