‘The Real Housewives Of Jersey’ Is A Hit! New Series Streamed Almost 3 Million Times On ITV Hub

It is the first Real Housewives franchise to drop all of its episodes at once.

The Real Housewives of Jersey is officially a hit with the news that the new series has been streamed almost 3 million times on the ITV Hub.

In a press release just yesterday (January 19), ITV confirmed that the latest edition to the Real Housewives franchise is very popular with viewers, revealing that 2.26 million people have streamed the series so far.

According to ITV, RHOJersey’s most popular episode to date is the Season 1 premiere with 235,000 viewers.

As previously reported, The Real Housewives of Jersey, which is not to be confused with Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, filmed on location on Jersey in the Channel Islands earlier this year and debuted just after Christmas. In a franchise first, ITV decided to release the entire series at once but the show is now airing weekly on ITVBe.

While ratings for ITVBe shows aren’t readily available, these viewing numbers on the ITV Hub are massive and show that the series certainly has some legs. If chatter on social media is any indication, Season 1 of the series has seemingly been well-received by viewers and these numbers do seem to prove that fans just can’t get enough of Jersey.

With many fans already requesting a second season, the decision to bring more RHOJersey into our lives should be an easy decision for the big wigs at the network.

The Real Housewives of Jersey stars Ashley Cairney, Kate Taylor, Margaret Thompson, Jane Rayner, Tessa Hartmann, Mia Ledbury, and Hedi Green and is produced by ITV and Monkey Kingdom. New episodes of the series air Mondays at 9pm GMT on ITVBe and RHOJersey can be streamed in its entirety by U.K. viewers over on the ITV Hub.

Bravo has not yet purchased The Real Housewives of Jersey from ITVBe so as of now there are no plans to air the series stateside. However, the series is available to international audiences via hayu.
