‘Southern Charm’: Naomie Olindo Implies She And Chelsea Meissner Are Also Leaving
Naomie Olindo is implying that Cameran Eubanks isn’t the only one leaving Southern Charm after season 6.
According to an Instagram comment spotted by Us Weekly, Naomie seemed to heavily imply that she and Chelsea Meissner are also leaving the show.
“I’m so damn proud of you and us @chelseameissner58,” Naomie commented on Cameran’s post according to the magazine, implying that they have all decided to leave the show in unison.
Austen Kroll, for his part, seemed to fuel the rumours when he responded to a fan who commented about a potential spinoff show with Austen, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover.
“It just might be to that point,” he responded. “Want to watch our late night antics? Or turn off the cameras when the girls go to bed at 9 pm?”
Cameran Announces She’s Leaving
Earlier this week, Cameran shocked fans by announcing her departure from Southern Charm ahead of season 7.
The Instagram account Comments By Bravo caught Cameran responding to a fan who asked when the show would be coming back. “I will not be returning,” she responded flatly.
Then, the longtime reality star posted a lengthly statement to her Instagram account where she revealed that she is choosing her marriage over reality TV and seemed to slam both the production company and Bravo for the way the show is being handled.
“I was going to make a kind statement about why I decided to leave the show tomorrow however it has come to my attention that insidious rumours are now spreading and fake articles being written…some of which pertain to my marriage,” she shared.
“While upsetting, it sadly doesn’t surprise me as this is what reality television has come to nowadays and a large reason why I kept my marriage off the air. You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren’t worth a big paycheck,” she continued.

“What upsets me the most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful human I know is being falsely dragged into this,” she said, referencing the numerous tweets and stories about her husband’s alleged infedelity.
“It disgusts me. He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight. I can’t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV… and why I’m getting out of it now.”
“Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumours about others are sometimes created,” she dished. “Make of that what you will and consider the source. My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumours about my marriage.”
She said, “Please disregard any fabricated rumour. It’s a ploy for ratings and that’s it. Now I absolutely know I was smart to leave the party early. My gut has never failed me. To all of the genuine and kind fans, cast and crew that I have worked with over the years and had the pleasure of knowing…thank you.”
Season 7 In Trouble?
With Cameran’s departure and Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner seemingly announcing their departures, as well, it’s clear that Southern Charm will look different when, and if, it ever returns to Bravo.
Even prior to the coronavirus pandemic causing an entire shutdown of the TV industry, the season was plagued with production issues, including staff being unable to find suitable new cast members.
Only time will tell if these casting changes are because a) the show is over entirely or b) the show is coming back with a rebooted and refreshed feel.
