Sheree Whitfield In Talks To Return To ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ For Season 13, Phaedra Parks Not Being Considered — Report

Sheree Whitfield left The Real Housewives of Atlanta after Season 10 and Phaedra Parks was infamously fired after the Season 9 reunion.

Some of your favourites are in talks to return to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 13, a new report reveals.

Now that the Season 12 reunion has aired, the network is moving on with next season and according to reports, has made offers to some of the cast members to return for next season including Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, and Cynthia Bailey.

Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Tanya Sam will also be returning for the new season, while Yovanna Momplaisir was mysteriously left out of HollywoodLife’s latest report. Eva Marcille, as previously reported, recently announced her exit from the series.

“They’re all planning on returning,” a source told the outlet, adding that “A few of them have signed their contracts already, while a few haven’t yet.”

Sheree Whitfield snags a peach

Sheree Whitfield, however, is in talks to return to the show after departing after Season 10, the report states. “Sheree [Whitfield] is seriously being considered to rejoin the cast for season 13,” an insider said.

Just last month, Sheree opened up about the possibility of returning to RHOA on an episode of Watch What Happens Live and definitely seemed open to the possibility.

“We have good times over there! When we’re having a good time, it’s good. But sometimes it goes low,” she explained. “You know, I’m in a different place right now and I would not say ‘no’.”

One Housewife that won’t be returning? None other than Ms. Phaedra Parks.

“Phaedra [Parks] will not be considered while Kandi is still on the show,” the insider revealed, adding that producers are “looking into casting at least one [housewife], but would like two other women right now to round out the cast.” (Rumours have been running rampant that Nene was working on getting Phaedra re-hired by the network.)

Longtime RHOA fans will remember that Phaedra was infamously fired by Bravo after Season 9 following allegations that she had told Porsha that Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker wanted to drug and rape her. The rumours shocked fans of the franchise, and Phaedra was promptly let go after she was unveiled as the culprit behind the nasty rumours.

Nene Leakes FIRED?

Earlier today, Nene confirmed that she is still in discussions to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 13 but as of posting, she has not signed on the dotted line.

“It is absolutely not true that Nene has been fired from RHOA,” her manager, Steven Grossman, told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement about rumours she had left the show. “Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be.”

“[We] having on-going bigger picture conversations with NBC Universal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically,” he continued. “Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate. Bloop.”

Bravo also confirmed via a statement that the veteran Housewife has not been let go from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “There is no truth to this story – NeNe was not fired and conversations for the next season are still ongoing,” a spokesperson for the network told the outlet.

RHOA is expected to return to Bravo next year.
