‘Shahs Of Sunset’: Nema Vand Calls Out GG And Destiney For Shading Him On Instagram By Cropping Him Out Of Cast Photos
The Shahs of Sunset cast seemed to be making progress in their relationships on recent episodes but with the latest episode airing this past Friday night, everything seems to have changed.
Nema Vand took to Twitter over the weekend to call out his Shahs of Sunset co-stars Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Destiney Rose for cropping him out of cast photos while promoting the show.
“Let’s be clear,” he posted. “I get cropped out of cast photos because I continue to support my friend @MercedesJavid. These 2 ugly mean girls act like I don’t have the receipts & lawyers to prove it.”
The tweets clearly implies that the “ugly mean girls” are GG and Destiney and a quick look at Instagram reveals that to be the case.
In a photo posted on on April 25, GG shared a picture of the cast on their trip to Hawaii and clearly cropped out Nema.
GG and Destiney have been shading their Shahs of Sunset co-star Nema Vand on Instagram.
The two seemed to have planned to shade Nema on Instagram, as Destiney also cropped him out of a photo posted to her Instagram page on April 25.
In the photo below, it’s clear that Destiney used some sort of filter or effect to blur out Nema in the background, who was clearly a part of the photo at the time it was taken.
Nema didn’t just call out GG and Destiney, however. Seeing as this is supposed to be a tight-knit group of friends, he also called out Mike Shouhed for what he perceived as riding the fence.
“Spoke to @mikeshouhed for an hour last night,” he tweeted. Asked him where is his voice during these photo crop outs? Don’t friends defend each other and set the record straight? He’s my good friend 23 hours of the day. That other hour exists on Instagram.”
“I will never apologize for doing the right thing or standing up for what’s right,” he added in a subsequent tweet.
There is clearly a divide between the cast and while that is usually entertaining, it appears that GG, Destiney, and dare we say Reza Farahan may be trying to isolate certain cast members, therefore impacting their chances of staying on the show.
If that is the case, it would be simply unprofessional and we hope that the cast would be above it. From where we stand, Nema seems to have won this round so it will be interesting to see what the girls have to say for themselves, especially seeing as they are getting some negative feedback on Instagram for sharing the photos.
Shahs of Sunset airs Fridays on Bravo and Slice.
