‘Selling Sunset’ Season 3: Christine Quinn Says Heather Rae Young And Tarek El Moussa Are The New ‘Speidi’

She opened up about what viewers can expect from Season 3 of the Netflix reality hit.

Things sure have changed in Los Angeles. Selling Sunset Season 3 is set to drop on Netflix one week tomorrow and ahead of the show’s sure-to-be epic return, Christine Quinn teased the dramatic season in a new interview with Page Six.

Not only did Christine reveal that there are some fresh new divides amongst the women but she also opened up about Heather Rae Young’s recent engagement to HGTV star Tarek El Moussa.

And only as Christine can, she delivers in her commentary on both.

Mixing business with friendship

Heather and I get into a fight, and Davina [Potratz] and I get into a fight, so it’s really interesting,” she told the gossip outlet about her former (?) friends.

“The dynamic has changed. Season 3 has quite a cliffhanger in regards to me … something in my personal life.”

Despite leaving the end of Season 2 on good terms with both Heather and Davina, she revealed that viewers should expect a change when the new episodes drop.

“[Davina] brings me on to help her find a client and obviously we have different ways of working, so you know we get into a little tiff about that,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Heather’s relationship with Tarek is set to be at the forefront of Season 3 as the women (and viewers) get used to her new boyfriend but in real life, he recently proposed to the Netflix reality star after celebrating one year together.

The new ‘Speidi’

In her interview with Page Six, Christine dished that she sees the couple as the new ‘Speidi’, after The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

“It’s really funny to see Heather’s relationship play out because her and her boyfriend have such an interesting dynamic,” she explained.

“I call them ‘Speidi’ all the time because it’s like articles all the time about baking cookies, you know, watching movies. It’s ridiculous, so you know, you’re going to see the girls and I just get so tired of it.”

Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn compared co-stars Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa to The Hills villains Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (pictured) in a new interview.

Back in the day, Spencer and Heidi became reality TV legends for leveraging their on-screen drama into off-screen promotional deals, including magazine covers.

Heather and Tarek have drawn the obvious comparisons and it should be noted that they’re in the current issue of People flaunting their new engagement, so Christine has a point.

Christine doesn’t seem to be alone in her criticism of the couple, however. Also in the interview, Christine let slip that Mary Fitzgerald has had a falling out with Heather, too.

Mary gets really irritated with her because she does an interview talking about Chrishell and her divorce, basically saying that everything is fine, but she did speak on Heather’s behalf,” dished Christine, implying that the drama will play out in full detail once the season drops.

She continued, “A lot of relationships are really changing.”

Selling Sunset Season 3 drops Friday, August 7 on Netflix.
