Denise Richards Suing Former Landlords, Calls Them ‘Vile’ For Allegedly Leaking Her Private Information

Denise Richards Suing Former Landlords, Calls Them ‘Vile’ For Allegedly Leaking Her Private Information

Denise Richards is suing her former landlords, calling them “vile” for allegedly leaking her private information in a new lawsuit.

Denise and her husband Aaron Phypers are suing their former Calabasas, California landlords Anthony Ellrod and Christopher Masterson, who have accused the RHOBH couple of trashing a property they rented from the two.

According to a report from PageSix, the case involves a property that was not shown on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. (Denise and Aaron currently live in Malibu.)

The outlet obtained the court documents in which Denise accuses the two of causing emotional distress for publicizing their private information. As the report points out, it’s unclear what private information she is referring to, seeing as the documents are public information in California.

In the documents, her former address and rent amount are listed, among other details. The landlords initially filed a lawsuit against Richards and Phypers, suing the couple for $113,000 in damages. In these new documents, Denise denies there was any damage to the property.

In the court papers, Denise Richards detailed how the lawsuit and resulting publicity have affected her.

“Further, said conduct was despicable in that it was so vile, base, contemptible; miserable, retched, and loathsome that it would be looked down upon and despised by ordinary decent people,” the documents read.

In addition, she claims that “a reasonable person in [her] position would consider the publicity highly offensive” from the landlords filing the lawsuit. She is now looking for damages and her lawyer fees to be covered by the landlords due to the “great mental and physical pain and discomfort” that has been caused by the lawsuit.

RHOBH Season 10

Denise is returning for RHOBH Season 10, which is set to premiere on Bravo in just a few weeks and if the trailer is any indication, it looks like she will be at the center of the drama after having a lowkey first season last year.

In the preview for the new season, Denise was shown confronting Lisa Rinna after what looks like a long season of the Housewives discussing her marriage.

As previously reported, Denise Richards is on the outs with the rest of her co-stars after a season that will see her being accused of having a sexual relationship with co-star Brandi Glanville and hiding it from her husband.

Brandi, who will be featured on Season 10 but is not a Housewife or a Friend Of, is going out of her way to make sure viewers understand that she isn’t lying about her relationship with Denise and has even volunteered to take a lie detector test a la Lisa Vanderpump — and the season hasn’t even premiered.

New Housewives — And No Lisa Vanderpump

Denise Richards is returning for her second season and will be joined this year by new Housewife Garcelle Beauvais along with official Friend of the Housewives Sutton Stracke.

Garcelle is an actress and will be the show’s first African-American Housewife. Sutton, for her part, is a socialite and entrepreneur and was expected to be a full-time Housewife before being downgraded by the network when it came time to officially announce the new season of the show.

Season 10 will also be the first without Vanderpump, who left the show midway through Season 9. She hasn’t left Bravo entirely, however, and can still be seen on Vanderpump Rules.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns April 15 on Bravo.
