Sally Bloomfield Confirms She’s Leaving ‘Real Housewives Of Melbourne’ Ahead Of Rebooted Season 5
Taking to Instagram, Sally revealed that she will not be a part of the new season, which is set to premiere sometime in 2020. “This Sheriff is riding off into the sunset,” she posted. “Sadly I won’t be returning to Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Melbourne! Wishing the new cast and crew a great season, can’t wait to binge watch!!! Thanks for all the love, had a blast!”
As previously reported, Foxtel has been working on rebooting the Australian franchise for a while and none of the existing cast members are safe. In addition to Sally, season 4 also starred Gina Liano, Janet Roach, Gamble Breaux, Lydia Schiavello, Venus Behbahani-Clark, and Jackie Gillies.
Along with The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Foxtel is also rumoured to be working on a second season of The Real Housewives of Sydney, despite warnings that the show had been cancelled for being too dramatic.
