A popular Hamptons restaurant featured on Bravo’s RHONY has been shut down due to coronavirus-related violations, Page Six confirms.
The restaurant has lost its liquor license, according to the gossip outlet, after the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) visited the hotspot on Saturday night (August 22).
According to the SLA, authorities visited the restaurant to find customers “ignoring social distancing” and with “most not wearing facial coverings.” Investigators returned later that night to find that things were not any better and were actually able to walk up and order drinks undercover at the bar without providing identification, clearly breaking the state’s coronavirus precautions.

In a statement to Page Six, 75 Main owner Zach Erdem took responsibility. “75 Main has a zero tolerance policy for any violations of social distancing, mask requirements, or serving alcohol to anyone under the age of 21,” he said. “We have terminated the personnel involved. We are working together with the State of New York to rectify this matter and have no greater priority than providing a safe environment for our patrons.”
While it is appropriate to fire the employees at hand, it is odd that no one in management or ownership was there Saturday night, which would otherwise be a popular night for the restaurant. Hopefully, management and ownership are also facing accountability and are going to ensure something like this does not happen again.
75 Main has been featured on Bravo and RHONY many times over the years, including last season’s infamous Hamptons brunch.
