‘RHONJ’s Danielle Staub Says Pulling Margaret’s Hair ‘Felt Good’, Claims She’s The ‘Only Reason’ Anyone Knows Who Melissa Gorga Is

Danielle Staub may have quit The Real Housewives of New Jersey weeks ago but with the release of the latest After Show episode, it’s clear that she is still a major part of the show’s driving drama.

In a new video on Bravo’s YouTube channel, the RHONJ cast sat down to discuss this week’s season finale and despite the cast’s best efforts, it’s clear that Danielle still plays a big role in the group.

In the interview, they discuss the now-infamous hair pull, Teresa’s participation in the boutique brawl, and whether or not Danielle truly has been removed from the group.

When asked to speculate on why Teresa Giudice told her to pull Margaret Josephs’ hair, she denies to do so but makes clear that she doesn’t have any regrets about the situation, even after watching the episodes.

“I don’t want to do what they do,” she said. “I don’t want to pretend to know what someone’s thinking when they say stuff and that’s my only regret, that she had to tell me to do it. It felt good.”

“All this time I thought I would be mortified when I saw it play out,” she explained to producers about the boutique incident, referencing what she calls continued “abuse” from Margaret and the rest of the cast. “Total opposite. My only regret is not doing it sooner.”

In a particularly interesting part of the interview, Danielle opened up about what she really thinks about Melissa Gorga.

As longtime RHONJ fans will remember, Danielle and Melissa were enemies in the early years of the show and it is rumored that Melissa had been contacting Danielle before she joined the show with dirt on her sister-in-law, Teresa.

Their relationship has never truly been addressed by the show and it’s been a wish for viewers for it to be a part of the show for years. Now, Danielle is making it clear that any partnership between the two is now over.

“I don’t give Melissa a second thought anymore,” she said. “Another person that I’m the reason she’s there and I’m the only reason anyone knows who she is. Your greatest goal in life and your only achievement in life is opening a boutique. Congratulations.”

“I could really care [less] about Melissa,” she added. “I don’t care. [The Gorgas] used me. Well, it’s not going to happen any further.”

On the RHONJ season finale, Melissa was the one that ousted Danielle from the group, or at least that’s what producers are leading viewers to believe. Danielle, for her part, sees things clearly when it comes to that final lunch.

“She was very confrontational, unapologetic. And it dawned on me that day that the only reason I was invited there was to push me out of Teresa’s life because they need someone to blame,” she explained.

“They can’t blame Teresa, god forbid,” she said, referencing the finale drama where it was revealed that Teresa told Danielle to pull Margaret’s hair. “They can’t blame any of them. They can’t take responsibility for anything. So let’s blame Danielle again. “

“[Melissa Gorga] came there with an agenda,” she continued. “She wanted me to say something that would make Teresa flip a switch and she got what she wanted.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 continues with the first part of the reunion airing next Wednesday on Bravo.
