RHOD star D’Andra Simmons (third from left) has been hospitalized with COVID-19, her representative has confirmed.

As previously reported, The Real Housewives of Dallas, also known as RHOD, is set to return in just a few weeks time for Season 5. The series filmed during the summer months, just prior to the current second-wave of the pandemic, and the ladies will be shown with masks and face shields when they returns to Bravo.

While original Housewife LeeAnne Locken has left the series, Dr. Tiffany Moon is joining as a full-time cast member while Jennifer Davis Long will be introduced as a Friend of the Housewives. (The Page Six report revealed that it was actually Jennifer that confirmed D’Andra’s hospitalization with COVID-19 first.)

RHOD Season 5 premieres Tuesday, January 5 at 9/8c on Bravo.
