RHOC star Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been spotted with her rumoured new girlfriend just days after coming out as a lesbian.
TMZ has released exclusive pics of Braunwyn and her rumoured girlfriend, only known as Kris at this time, having lunch at Conservatory in West Hollywood, California, last month. In the pictures, Braunwyn and Kris are clearly having a good time and don’t seem to be doing much lunching.
The outlet reports that the pics were taken on November 3, 2020.
RHOC star Braunwyn Windham-Burke was spotted having lunch with her rumoured girlfriend Kris just days after coming out publicly as a lesbian.
According to the gossip outlet, RHOC viewers won’t get to see the new relationship on Season 15 as their relationship developed after filming on the season had wrapped. The outlet also points out that Braunwyn’s younger children with husband Sean Windham-Burke don’t really know what is going on, but that the older kids do. Sean has reportedly even sat for dinner with Braunwyn and Kris on multiple occasions.
As previously reported, Braunwyn shocked Real Housewives of Orange County fans by coming out as a lesbian in a revealing interview with GLAAD just last week.
“It feels so good to finally be living my truth,” she captioned a photo on Instagram, sharing the news of the interview. “I am a lesbian. At 43 years old, I’ve finally been able to accept this part of myself and I’ve realized there are no rules about when someone should come out. This is my time.”
Braunwyn comes out: “I like women”
In the interview with GLAAD, Braunwyn expanded on the news.
“I’m finally comfortable enough to say: I like women,” she told the organization. “I’m gay. I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m a lesbian. And it has taken me 42 years to say that, but I’m so proud of where I am right now and I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice.”
With the revelation, Braunwyn Windham-Burke becomes the first openly gay Housewife in the franchise. She is currently married to Sean Burke and said in the interview with GLAAD that she plans to stay with her husband.
“Honestly, we are in uncharted territory. I don’t have a role model for this,” she explained. “I don’t have anyone to go to for answers. So right now, we’re just doing our own way. You know, Sean and I are still married. I plan on staying married…We’re raising the kids together. He’s my best friend. He knows the girl I’m dating; her name is Kris. I mean, we go to parties together! She came over the other night, hung out with the family, had dinner with us. I mean, it’s only as weird as you make it.”
In addition to coming out as a lesbian, Braunwyn dropped the bomb in the RHOC Season 15 premiere that she is also an alcoholic.
