‘RHOC’ Fans Shade Andy Cohen For Complimenting Tamra And Vicki After Firing Them

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are not happy with Andy Cohen following news that both Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge are leaving the show.

On January 24, Vicki broke the news on Instagram that she is leaving RHOC after 14 seasons and just yesterday, January 24, Tamra confirmed that she too is leaving the show.

Love them or hate them, both of these women are iconic Housewives and their departures will require a big adjustment from viewers. Knowing this, Andy took to Twitter to both celebrate Tamra and to squash any tension with fans but it clearly was not enough to please everyone.

“An unprecedented run from a woman who was always entertaining, surprising and dramatic – and never aged,” he shared. “And now she’s the queen of CBD!”

Sensing that he might be being a tad disingenuine with his post, some RHOC fans were quick to criticize him in the comments of his Tweet.

“You’re literally firing these chicks left and right and then posting love notes to them,” tweeted @KateHF.

“Oh honey sit down,” @godisabutterfly tweeted, throwing some pretty decent shade.

“Glad they’re gone but……” posted @baileyparkertan, adding a gif that read I See You. You’re Fake.

Not all viewers were upset with Andy for whatever part he may have played in the two veterans leaving the show, however.

Plenty of RHOC viewers think that a cast switch-up is just what the show needs and that Tamra and Vicki leaving are just two things that they would like to see happen with the cast. Plus, there’s an entire production company here who holds a lot of decision-making power.

Whenever a Housewife is fired decides to leave the show, Andy is put in an awkward position seeing as he is both the face of the franchise for Bravo, and he also happens to be a close friend to a lot of the women. Right now, it is not exactly a position we would envy.

The Real Housewives of Orange County will return later this year.
