The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues to be Bravo’s biggest hit.

Part 4 of the RHOA reunion brought in record ratings for the network, reports Bravo’s in-house public relations department. According to the network, the episode was not only the most-watched episode of RHOA in two years, but it also logged records for the most-watched reunion, too.

“Take a bow and twirl on!” the network shared on Twitter. “Part 4 of #RHOA reunion was the most watched ep in 2+ yrs and most watched reunion in 3+ years w/ 4.1M ttl viewers.”

Part 4 of the RHOA reunion really was the true unravelling of long standing cast member Phaedra Parks. During the dramatic and shocking episode, it was revealed that Phaedra was the one behind those nasty drug and rape allegations leveled against Kandi Burruss by Porsha Williams. As we all saw, Kandi absolutely lost it on set after the revelation and Porsha has openly whined that her friendship with Phaedra is over because of the betrayal.

Honestly, it’s not shocking to find out that the episode rated so well. This was the first time in the network’s history that they had gone with a four part reunion and although fan reaction was tepid when it was first announced, most Housewives viewers are pleased with the entertainment value after seeing what went down with Phaedra.

However, this does bring up an issue for Bravo. Recently, Andy Cohen confirmed rumours that Phaedra had been let go from the show, telling reporters at the NBCUniversal Upfront presentation that the rest of the Housewives wanted nothing to do with her and therefore, she had to go. Now, this ratings news is giving Phaedra fans the evidence they need to petition the network to bring her back. While we can see some people rallying around her, Phaedra’s lie went too far and crossed too many lines — even for Bravo standards — and it doesn’t seem likely that they’ll change their mind about her just because of this ratings news.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return later this year.
