90 Day Fiance dipped slightly but still dominated Sunday night, generating a 1.17 in the demo and 3,738,000 viewers for TLC. 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk was in the number 2 spot, generating a 0.66.
Bravo’s Married To Medicine Los Angeles premiered with a 0.19 and 672,000 viewers after originally being set to air following The Real Housewives of Potomac’s fifth season premiere, which was later pushed to summer 2020.
Last year’s premiere, for example, scored a 0.40 in the demo and 1,131,000 viewers following an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Clearly, the LA-based series benefited from a popular lead-in but this might be the new trend in TV as we adjust to the coronavirus pandemic. Comparatively, season one wrapped with a 0.30 and 763,000 viewers, but it also had RHOA as a lead-in.
