The Real Housewives Of Melbourne Season 5 Begins Filming This Monday, Lydia Schiavello Previews ‘Very Interesting’ Season Ahead
The Real Housewives of Melbourne season 5 begins production this coming Monday, new reports suggest.
According to the Herald Sun, production is set to begin on the highly anticipated new season this Monday, March 16.
As previously reported, Foxtel and Arena are rebooting the show after a years-long hiatus. Only Lydia Schiavello, Janet Roach, Gamble Breaux, and Gina Liano are returning from the previous season, while Kyla Kirkpatrick, Cherry Dipietrantonio, and Anjali Rao are all joining as full-time Housewives.

The article, which Lydia shared in a recent post on her Instagram, also revealed that while she has met her new co-stars, they haven’t spent any time with each other which is sure to make their interactions on screen more authentic.
“I haven’t had much to do with them,” she said, referring to Kyla, Cherry, and Anjali. “I look forward to seeing them and working with them.”
“I speak to Gina daily,” she added when asked about her relationships with the rest of the RHOMelbourne cast. “I think it’s going to be a very interesting season.”
After not really getting along during the early seasons, Lydia and Gina have since formed a real bond and fans will be excited to hear that their friendship, or alliance, is still intact.
Not only will it be interesting to see them meet the new Housewives, but we’re sure there is some unfinished business with Gamble and Janet, as well.
The Real Housewives of Melbourne season 5 will premiere on Arena in late 2020.
