‘The Real Housewives Of Dallas’ Suffers In The Ratings Following LeeAnne Locken Controversy

The Real Housewives of Dallas barely cracked the top 25 new cable shows to air on December 11.

The Real Housewives of Dallas suffered in the ratings this week following LeeAnne Locken’s inappropriate comments towards her co-star Kary Brittingham.

According to ratings website TV By The Numbers, the show barely cracked the top 25 new cable shows to air on Wednesday, December 11, taking home just 613,000 overall viewers and scoring 0.2 in the coveted 18-49 age group.

To advertisers, that age group is the most valuable so the higher the rating in that category, the better. While lots of overall viewers is great, it’s really the age group that the networks are looking for so this isn’t good news for RHOD.

Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of New Jersey scored over 1 million viewers and a 0.4 in the demo making it the number 5 show that night. RHOD, for it’s part, took home number 24.

Following the controversy on this week’s episode, LeeAnne publicly apologized before Andy Cohen took to Watch What Happens Live to call out her behaviour.
