For each Reality TV Ratings report, we look at the top 100 cable shows for the night and pull out all lifestyle reality programming. Only unscripted shows that land in the top 100 are reported on.
Executives at VH1 have some explaining to do.
The highly-anticipated premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race was dead on arrival, scoring a 0.20 and 504,000 overall viewers. The numbers will certainly have many questioning why the network decided to dump Season 12 on Fridays.
For context, the Season 11 premiere scored a 0.30 and over 600,000 overall viewers.
Over on WE tv, two new episodes of Love After Lockup led the pack, scoring a 0.27 and 0.21, respectively.
