Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo’s husband Lee has been sentenced to 5 years in prison in his federal weapons case.

As previously reported, both Drita and Lee were arrested and faced a litany of federal drug and weapons charges but the former was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing.

Recently, Drita had even attempted to convince the judge to lighten any potential sentence but it looks like her comments fell on deaf ears.

“If there is one thing no one can take away from Lee is what an amazing father he has been to our children,” she wrote to the judge in a letter which was leaked to TMZ. “He never missed a soccer game and was very much involved in our kids school work and any activities they were involved in.”

“He is a family man and is missed!” she continued, referencing the fact that D’Avanzo is currently in jail as he awaits sentencing. “He has a family that is fully supporting him and hoping he comes home soon.”

Mob Wives was a reality show filmed on Staten Island and aired on VH1 that focused on the wives and girlfriends of those connected to the mob.
