‘Mob Wives’: Shocking Gun And Drug Charges Dropped Against Drita D’Avanzo
As previously reported, the former VH1 reality star was charged with a litany of offenses back in December 2019 including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
Those charges have since been dropped, reports TMZ, citing The District Attorney in Staten Island as the source.
Her husband, Lee D’Avanzo, isn’t off the hook, however. The DA now says that his wife was not the intended target of the raid and federal agents at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York have since taken over the case, indicting him for possession of firearms and cannabis.
Drita, for her part, seems to be used to the court drama. After all, she did star on six seasons of a show called Mob Wives.
“I have no time to celebrate because my husband is not home, but I am very happy with the outcome,” she told reporters outside of the court house. “All I’m focusing on right now is the fact that this turned out good.”
