Mischa Barton Responds To Reports She’s Been Fired From ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’, Shades New Cast Member Caroline D’Amore
UPDATE: Caroline has since responded to Mischa’s post, throwing her own fair amount of shade right back.
ORIGINAL STORY: Mischa Barton has responded to reports that she’s been fired from MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings by insulting the show’s rumored new cast member, Caroline D’Amore.
Responding to Us Weekly, Mischa took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the news that she had been fired by the show ahead of season 2 and is being replaced by Caroline.
“Where do people get their reporting from?” she asked her almost half a million followers. “As if anyone would watch @caroldinedamore try to hoc [sic] her boring ass pasta bowls.” She capped things off by adding a pasta emoji, referencing Caroline’s company.
“Tried it that, it was like watching paint dry,” she added.
As previously reported, MTV has replaced Mischa in the second season of The Hills reboot. The show returned last year and features Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Pratt, and Brody Jenner, among others.
The show is produced by Evolution Media, the production company behind The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules.
The Hills: New Beginnings will return to MTV later this year.
