Mischa Barton Fired From ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’, Won’t Return For Season 2

Mischa Barton has been fired from MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings, according to a new report.

Production is about to begin on the show’s second season but if a new report from TMZ is to be believed, it will be without Mischa. Producers have reportedly let her go ahead of filming for being too “boring”.

Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, and Heidi Pratt are all expected to return and according to the outlet, Brody Jenner will also be back.

According to the outlet, he will reportedly be walking away with $50k per episode after holding out during discussions with the network and production company Evolution Media.

In addition to Brody’s return, Season 2 will also reportedly feature a new cast member, socialite Caroline D’Amore.

As the gossip site reports, she used to hang out with Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian back in the day, which seems to be the sort of vibe they are looking to recreate.

While it makes sense to let go of Mischa, the show will need to make some other changes if it wants to have any chance of being relevant in 2020.

The Hills: New Beginnings is expected to return to MTV later this year.
