Maggie Griffin, the hilarious mother of comedienne Kathy Griffin and co-star on her Bravo reality show, has passed away at age 99.
As PEOPLE reports, Kathy shared the news with her 2.1 million Twitter followers yesterday, March 17.
“My Mom, the one and only, Maggie Griffin, passed away today,” she shared. “I am gutted. My best friend. I’m shaking. I won’t ever be prepared. I’m so grateful you guys got to be part of her life. You knew her. You loved her. She knew it. Oh, and OF COURSE she went on St Patrick’s Day.”
As fans of Kathy’s are aware, Maggie was there alongside her every step of the way. The two starred on the Bravo reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List from 2005-2010, and she also appeared on Kathy’s talk show, in addition to her recent documentary.
As longtime fans of Bravo, this is truly heartbreaking. We’re sending nothing but positivity to Kathy and her friends and family.
