A second insider confirmed, “There’s going to be some changes. … A handful of white women doesn’t necessarily represent what New York City is all about.”

RHONY currently stars Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, and Leah McSweeney, who are all caucasian women.

Bravo, like other TV networks, has been facing calls to diversify in front of the camera as the Black Lives Matter movement continues to gain traction.

While this season of RHONY is certainly doing OK in the ratings, it’s looking more and more like network executives may use this time to make some big updates to the 12-year-old franchise.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursdays on Bravo and Slice.
