This isn’t the first time that LeeAnne Locken has made some odd comments about her co-star.
LeeAnne and Kary faced off at the group’s final dinner together in Thailand after Kameron Westcott told the group that LeeAnne had lost it on her the night before over their choice to visit a strip club. During their argument, LeeAnne brought up Kary and made inappropriate comments about her Mexican nationality.
Following the episode, LeeAnne made a public apology on her Twitter page which can be read in full below:
“I am deeply sorry to those that I have hurt or offended with some of my comments on Real Housewives Of Dallas Season 4,” she said. “It was never my intention to hurt anyone and I will use this as a learning experience to be more aware of my comments in the future. My commitment moving forward is to continue my work fighting for equality and acceptance of all humans.”
It’s a pretty big thing for LeeAnne to have apologized but in a situation like this, she clearly had no choice. Her comments towards Kary have been completely out of line and if we’re being honest, her apology doesn’t appear to be well-thought out. While LeeAnne definitely made the right decision by apologizing, it would have been nice to have seen a direct apology to Kary considering the statements were made about her.
LeeAnne is such a crucial part of the show but if viewers continue to be this upset with her, it won’t bode well for her future on the show. Despite the drama being mostly about her this season, LeeAnne managed to lose her spot next to Andy Cohen at the show’s recent reunion taping and that can’t possibly be a good sign when it comes to her Bravo future.
