Leah McSweeney Set To Return To ‘RHONY’, Will Now Make $10k Per Episode

The fan favourite had reportedly balked at Bravo's initial offer.

Leah McSweeney is set to return to RHONY and will make $10,000 per episode on her second season, according to a new report.

After extended contract negotiations with Bravo where Leah reportedly balked at the network’s initial offer, she has accepted the deal and will resume filming Season 13 with the other ladies, as reported by gossip outlet Page Six.

Leah “got the standard wage increase,” a source close to production revealed, adding that the other women also received increases for the new season which has already started filming. “If they are at a restaurant there will be no other patrons,” the insider said about the various pandemic-related safety precautions being put in place.

Leah had held out on returning to the show amid contract negotiations, with sources indicating that the strategy was certainly a toss up in terms of whether it would work or not.

According to OK! MagazineLeah refused to return to The Real Housewives of New York City because she felt “disrespected” by the network’s earlier offer. (TMZ had reported earlier that Leah was offered a “minuscule” raise to return for RHONY Season 13).

“Leah is trying to strong arm them into paying her double, putting her on the same money level as old timers LuAnn [de Lesseps] and Sonja [Morgan],” a source told the gossip outlet. “However, Bravo is not budging. They are starting to film without Leah and think she will back down after a few weeks of them not needing her.”

Well, things must have changed because Leah is now back in the mix, recently confirming the news on Instagram.

As previously reported, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan are also set to return for the new season of RHONY, while Dorinda Medley was given the boot after six very dramatic seasons. The network reportedly has new women in the mix, including motivational speaker Bershan Shaw and Daily Mail reporter Alicia Quarles.

The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Part 3 airs tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.
