Lala Kent And Randall Emmett Postpone April Wedding Due To Coronavirus Concerns
Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have decided to postpone their April wedding due to coronavirus concerns, the couple has confirmed in a statement.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the Vanderpump Rules couple stressed that due to concerns around the coronavirus pandemic, they feel they have no choice but to delay their special day.
“We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on,” they said. “We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses. Safety will always be our number one priority.”
The decision to postpone their wedding makes sense, seeing as the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in government officials from numerous countries, including the U.S., restricting travel and large group gatherings.
It’s quite the change of tune from Lala, considering she was forced to apologize after joking just last weekend that she wanted to catch coronavirus for publicity.
