Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler Divorce Complicated By Child Custody Filings, Both Want Primary Custody
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler may have only announced their separation over the weekend but as with any reality TV divorce, people are taking a close look at their next steps.
TMZ reports that despite rumours the divorce has to do with cheating, the two are not separating over any alleged affairs but are in fact already arguing over child custody plans.
The two share three young children and as the outlet reports, have both filed requests with the court in regards to child custody: Jay listed himself as the primary caregiver and asked for joint custody, but the “primary caregiver” part seems to have upset Kristin and she has since responded, asking for full custody and for Jay to get visitation.

It’s a sad turn of events in the divorce, but it shouldn’t be surprising to Very Cavallari fans as the two have shared on the show how tough parenting with such public jobs has been.
As previously reported, Kristen and Jay announced their divorce just this past weekend, sending shockwaves through the reality TV world.
“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the star of The Hills shared on her Instagram page.
“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
Our thoughts remain with Kristen, Jay, and all involved.
