Kristin Cavallari Divorcing Jay Cutler Because He’s “Lazy” And “Unmotivated” — Report

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler shocked Very Cavallari fans when they announced their divorce just a few short weeks ago and ever since, there’s been no shortage of insider scoop leaking out about what led to the end of their seemingly great relationship.

According to a new report, Kristin is the cause for the split as she views Jay as “lazy” and “unmotivated”.

“She was growing increasingly impatient with him,” a source spilled to Page Six. “He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something.

“Instead, he backed out — this is [three] years ago — and joined the [Miami] Dolphins,” continued the leak. “That didn’t pan out well, and he was left with no TV gig until she got the show for them.”

As fans of the show know, this has been a storyline on previous seasons. Kristin has successfully launched her company Uncommon James and on the most recent season, she was seen expanding to a new location in Chicago.

Jay’s storyline, however, seemed to focus much more on their home life, despite the show not ever putting their young children in front of the cameras. While Jay seemed to enjoy this time to relax after years on the road, it was clear that there was some discomfort in their relationship around this and it even became somewhat of a running joke between the two.

According to the insider, it wasn’t a laughing matter. Kristin views herself as “polished and put together” and can’t get past seeing Jay as this “lazy, unmotivated guy,” the insider revealed.

As previously reported, their split has been anything but cordial. Just days after announcing they were going their separate ways, reports surfaced that Jay wouldn’t allow Kristin to buy additional property amid the split and that the two were battling over child custody details.

Thankfully, all of those items were resolved just this week, and Jay has bigger fish to fry as the two still have not commented on the cheating rumours following them.

On season 3 of Very Cavallari, fans watched as Kristin explained why she was no longer best friends with Kelly Henderson, who had appeared on the show’s first two seasons in a main role. With the news that Kristin and Jay are splitting up, it’s worth taking an additional look at that storyline and what happened with their friendship.

As viewers will remember, Kristin dropped Kelly not because she was having an affair with Jay, but because there were rumours that she was having an affair with Jay and Kristin didn’t like how Kelly handled them. Well, that is all looking suspicious, especially if you consider the fact that Kelly is teasing some sort of relationship with Jay on social media.

While Kristin certainly has a reputation thanks to her time on reality TV, we’ve been big fans of Very Cavallari since the get-go and it’s been great to see her in a different light. It would be a missed opportunity if E! wasn’t documenting this next chapter of her life because clearly, there is a lot to unpack here.

Very Cavallari is expected to return later this year.
