Kenya Moore shocked fans (and her co-stars!) of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alike when she married Marc Daly in a surprise ceremony just a few weeks ago but according to a new report, the honeymoon could already be over as her decision to film without the cameras has put her job on RHOA at risk.
RHOA has already started filming season 10 but according to Radar Online, Kenya is currently trying to make up with Bravo over the shocking wedding. “The network isn’t happy with the recent series of events involving her ‘wedding,'” a source close to the network told Radar. “They feel that it put the authenticity of the series in jeopardy.”
While RHOA isn’t exactly known for being one hundred percent real, the source has a point. Deciding to get married off camera makes it look like she’s leading two separate lives, which is exactly what Phaedra Parks was fired for just a few months back.
Despite the wedding, Kenya doesn’t have much going on otherwise and it’s really put her job in jeopardy. “She’s attempted to smooth things over by offering to have another ceremony next summer for the cameras, but that plan hasn’t been well received either,” continued the insider. “Kenya has no other storyline in place for the season.”
Things aren’t looking good for Kenya, at least when it comes to Bravo. While we enjoy watching her on the show, we can agree with the source that deciding to get married without cameras was pretty stupid. That said, she was kind of in a lose-lose situation because even if she did introduce her husband on the show, fans just wouldn’t have believed the relationship was authentic anyways.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return later this year.
