Kandi Burruss Looking For Another ‘RHOA’ Spinoff — Report
Kandi Burruss is reportedly pressuring Bravo executives for another Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff following news that Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge have both been fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County.
According to Radar Online, the fact that Bravo is letting go of so many of the franchise veterans has Kandi shaking in her boots. “She is worried that her time on RHOA is coming to an end,” an insider explained to the outlet, revealing that she recently pitched a show about her family.
“Mama Joyce, Todd [Tucker] and her manager, Don Juan, are all on board,” the source added. “[She] wants to stay on TV, and she thinks her own family drama is something that viewers would want to see.”
As RHOA viewers are aware, Ms. Burruss has already had a few spinoffs on the network. Despite bringing in decent ratings for some of those episodes, none of the shows have resulted in a longtime solo spinoff for her a la Kim Zolciak or Lisa Vanderpump.
Considering that the network is clearly making changes to the Real Housewives franchise, it makes sense that Kandi would want to ensure she’s secure. However, after appearing on RHOA for so long, we doubt Bravo executives — or viewers, for that matter — are all that interested in watching a solo spinoff.
