Jim Edmonds is not holding back. According to new reports, the former MLB player wants full custody of his kids with his ex-wife and RHOC star Meghan King Edmonds.
Us Weekly reports exclusively that Jim and Meghan’s ongoing divorce has hit new lows, with the former now revealing that he wants to take his kids from the latter.
“Jim is talking with his legal team about getting full custody of the children because he is getting increasingly upset that Meghan has been out of town during portions of her custodial time,” a source close to Jim told the magazine about the contentious split.
“There have been numerous times where Jim has brought the kids to Meghan for her custodial week only to find she is out of town and he has to leave them with Meghan’s nanny,” the insider continued, slamming Meghan’s parenting.
Continued the source, “[This] raises his concern even more about the amount of time Meghan is away during her custodial time and the amount of time she is actually spending with the children.”
“Jim feels if Meghan cannot be present during the week she has the children, then he should just keep them at his house and not leave them with the nannies,” they added.
Jim and Meghan have three children together, all under the age of 4.
Regardless of what you may think of Meghan from her time on RHOC, taking full custody away from her is a massive move and has to really be warranted.
In this situation, filing for custody seems like a pretty big move on Jim Edmonds’ part, and it may backfire. Meghan, for her part, is reportedly upset but planning to fight back.
As fans of the franchise are aware, Meghan King Edmonds appeared on Seasons 10 through 12 of RHOC. The Real Housewives of Orange County will return with Season 15 later this year.
