‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’: Your First Look At A Snooki-Less Season 4

The cast took over an entire Vegas resort to complete production on the new season.

MTV has released a first look at Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 4 and despite Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s absence, the gang looks to be up to much of their same old tricks.

As previously reported, the new season of Jersey Shore will be the first without Snooki after she publicly quit the show late last year.

Snooki quits

Back in December, the longtime reality star took to the newest episode of her podcast It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey to announce that she no longer wants to film the show after having children and was therefore not going to return for Season 4. (At the time, Season 3 was in the can but had not yet premiered.)

“You guys, I love you so much and don’t hate me for my decision, but I have to do what’s best for me at the moment,” she said, according to Page Six. “I am retiring from Jersey Shore. I am not coming back for Season 4 if there is one.”

Wedding drama

In the trailer for Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 4, Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding still seems to be a hot topic among the cast, with it being hinted that the relationships between the girls are still fractured after they gave what turned out to be a disastrous toast at her wedding last year.

Much of Season 3 focused on Angelina’s wedding and if the trailer for Season 4 is any indication, it looks like she still has issues with Deena Nicole Cortese and Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, which was hinted in the show’s recent renewal announcement.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 4 scoop

Recently, MTV announced that the show would return to the network on November 19 with all-new episodes after completing production on Season 4 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report from TMZ, the show was able to complete production by creating their own “bubble” amid the coronavirus pandemic. Show insiders tell the gossip outlet that the entire cast and their significant others all sequestered together in Nevada, taking over an entire resort to complete filming on the new season. In the trailer, the cast can be seen talking about the resort.

“Production adhered to local, state and federal COVID-19 health and safety requirements to get it done,” reads the report.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 will star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Nicole Cortese, and Angelina Pivarnick, and premieres Thursday, November 19 at 9/8c on MTV.
