Billionaire Jackie Siegel says she asked to join The Real Housewives of New York City but that Bravo actually turned her down.

Jackie, who is most well-known as “The Queen of Versailles”, revealed in a recent radio appearance that while she had expressed her interest in joining Ramona Singer and co., that production simply wasn’t interested.

“So, I contacted Bravo and stuff and I said ‘I think I should be on New York City, New York Housewives,'” Siegel told host Derek Zagami on the podcast Realitea With Derek Z, according to a write up from OK! Magazine. “Because there was an opening.”

Jackie Siegel, who says she wants to join The Real Housewives, is most well-known as the star of the documentary The Queen of Versailles.

Being no stranger to reality TV, she revealed that she attempted to use her glamorous lifestyle to sway the network but that it didn’t do the trick. “The thing is I have a penthouse there I was going to remodel, I have a lot of content to offer them and I have a ballroom, and I could throw parties, and do amazing things for their show,” she explained.

She continued, “I guess they got someone else.”

As previously reported, Eboni K. Williams is set to join RHONY for Season 13, replacing Dorinda Medley, and longtime Housewife Tinsley Mortimer had already quit the show in the middle of Season 12.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 13 is currently filming and is expected to return to Bravo in the spring of 2021.
