After months of back-and-forth negotiations, it seems that Bravo has finally nailed down Kim for season 10. According to TMZ, however, she will only be returning as an official “Friend of the Housewives.”
“RHOA production sources tell us Kim will shoot for season 10, although we’re told it’ll be a limited role,” reports the gossip site. “The show wanted her back as a full-time cast member, but obligations to her other show, Don’t Be Tardy, only allowed her to sign for a part-time gig.”
It wasn’t just Kim’s return that the network was working on, though. As we’ve told you repeatedly, Bravo desperately wants Nene Leakes to return for season 10 as well and according to recent rumours, she’s holding out for more money than Kim. Bringing Kim back as just a guest star clears the way for that, TMZ points out, as Nene would definitely make more than her if she was brought back as a full-time Housewife.
After Kim’s appearance on the RHOA finale, we’re not really all that excited at her return. First of all, she looks completely different and second of all, we can’t help but feel like she is simply a Negative Nancy. Kim lives in Kim’s world — and everything else revolves around her — and we don’t envision that changing with season 10.
It now looks like Kenya Moore will also be returning for season 10 after their heated finale confrontation, too.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo and Slice.
