Hannah Ferrier Leaving ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ After 5 Seasons
Another one bites the dust. Hannah Ferrier has announced that she is leaving Below Deck Mediterranean after 5 seasons in a new interview.
“I think I’m probably done,” revealed Hannah in a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight. “I learned when I first started yachting in my very early 20s, you know, I would see these women who were in their late 30s, 40s, sitting at a bar, getting wasted with 20-year-olds living in a tiny cabin, and I was like, I don’t want [that].”
She continued, “I want this to be a good, fun, enriching experience that allows me to travel a lot, but I don’t want to get to the stage where I’m locked into yachting and there’s nothing else in my life except that.”
“It’s a bit different if you’re captain, but as a chief stew? They just don’t seem like very happy people to me,” she added.
Hannah has been a part of the Below Deck franchise since Mediterranean first premiered back in 2016. The news follows another recent shocking departure, as Kate Chastain too has announced that she will not be returning to the franchise.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, I have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new land-based role,” Kate revealed in an Instagram post following the Below Deck Season 7 reunion. “I intend to step back as a senior member of the Below Deck family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support His Majesty Andy Cohen.”
Kate has since gone on to host her own radio show on Andy’s SiriusXM channel called Unapologetically Kate Chastain and can be seen in a new Bravo web series, Ghosted.
Hannah is such a massive part of the franchise, it certainly will be different without her around next season. We’ve always appreciated her humour and outlook and will deeply miss her shady confessional interviews.
Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays on Bravo and Slice.
