Bravo surely won’t comment on any casting rumours during production but a new report from Radar Online implies that they’re moving forward with RHOC season 15 and have made some minor changes to the show following last month’s dramatic reunion episodes. And despite Andy Cohen’s promises, it doesn’t look like fans are getting what they wanted with the new season.
Vicki Gunvalson is expected to return for RHOC season 15 but again in a part-time role, according to show insiders. Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, and Kelly Dodd will all return as full-time Housewives. Despite not being received well by fans last season, Braunwyn Windham-Burke will also be back in a full-time role.
While the report doesn’t mention the casting of any new Housewives, viewers should also expect to see at least one or two new faces next season.
The last few seasons of RHOC haven’t been received well by fans or critics alike which is why so many thought that Bravo would make some big changes for the upcoming season. Andy had implied there would be casting changes, and articles have been leaked for weeks that Gina, Emily, and Braunwyn were on the chopping block.
Unfortunately for Gina, the combination of a divorce, DUI, and domestic violence case seem to be working against her and she may be the only one fired ahead of the new season.
While we would have liked to have seen Vicki return in a full-time role, we do think it’s time for Gina to leave The Real Housewives. We want our Housewives to be real, of course, but the franchise is also known for being light and fun with some drama thrown in and some of the storylines have simply gotten too dark for our liking.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return in late 2020.
