Gina Kirschenheiter is claiming that Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s marriage is in “crisis”, even going as far as to imply that she is simply staying with her husband Sean Burke for financial reasons.
While Braunwyn has been seen making shady comments about Gina’s living situation, the latter says the former should stick to worrying about her own household.
“I think right now, honestly, [I] think Braunwyn and her family are in crisis,” she told Us Weekly exclusively just yesterday (October 26). “And I’m not going to put much stock into anything she said, and I feel for her family and you know, [but] I’m not trying to make things worse for them.”
As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are aware, Braunwyn and Sean’s marriage is a hot topic among the women this season.
Gina Kirschenheiter opened up about her RHOC co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s marriage to Sean Burke in a new interview.
On the first two episodes of Season 15, Braunwyn revealed that she is an alcoholic and in real-time, rumours about her marriage have been leaking to the press, with the RHOC star herself being forced to address them.
Earlier this month, Braunwyn took to Instagram to open up about how she and Sean are trying to make their “modern marriage” work, clarifying that they are still together but are living in different households.
“I’m not a judgmental person, you know what I mean?” Gina said of her co-star’s marriage issues. “So, if it works for them [then fine].”
She then went on to explain that it makes sense, at least financially, as to why Brauwyn would stay married to Sean. “If he’s OK with that — I think it might get a little sticky if he met someone new, that person would like to marry him. I don’t know if that would survive the modern marriage,” she said.
She continued, “But if it works for them now, I mean, it’s less paperwork, it’s less money out of your pocket. It’s less of a headache and it’s, you know, it’s less messy for the whole family.”
While Gina may think she is sounding supportive of Braunwyn, her comments might not help their already-fractured relationship. While we are sure it may be easier for Braunwyn to stay married for financial reasons, it could also be that they still love each other and have 7 children together, and it does not exactly sound like something you would want a friend to say about your relationship.
