Faith Stowers Says She’s “Proud Of Bravo” For Firing Jax Taylor From ‘Vanderpump Rules’

"I think it means a lot to everyone watching."

Former Vanderpump Rules cast member Faith Stowers says that she is “proud of Bravo” for firing Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright from the series.

In a new interview with TMZ, Faith commented on Jax and Brittany’s departure for the first time, telling the outlet that she believes the network knew keeping the two wouldn’t have been good for the show.

“I’m proud of Bravo because Bravo knew that wasn’t the light they wanted to show. They were standing up against people that just aren’t the right fit for Bravo,” she said. “I think that what he did and what Stassi and what Kristen did, it’s just not a good look for Bravo. I think it means a lot to everyone watching, I think everyone is proud of Bravo doing that as well.”

When pressed to share whether or not she believes Jax was actually fired from the series and didn’t quit on his own volition, like he tried to imply in his Instagram statement, Faith reveals that she does in fact believe it was Bravo who made the decision.

Faith Stowers recently commented for the first time on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright being fired from Vanderpump Rules.

“If he was fired, all I’m going to say is that it makes sense that he was fired,” she said, laughing. “I read something that said they didn’t write their own statement and normally that happens when people are fired.”

“At the end of the day, Brittany is pregnant. I wish her all the best. I hope her pregnancy is amazing and I wish them all the best,” she added.

Faith was also asked in the TMZ interview to clarify why she believed Jax should have been fired in the first place, and she summed it up pretty perfectly.

“Here’s the thing: I was accused of stealing and Jax actually did steal and he was still on the show for a long time,’ she said. “I think that Bravo gave him a lot of chances, and Lisa gave him a lot of chances, because they actually care about people who work there.”

As previously reported, the future of Vanderpump Rules isn’t exactly clear as the show has not resumed filming amid COVID-19, like many other Bravo shows have.

Also, a few months ago, now-fired Kristen Doute revealed that the network hadn’t even ordered a Season 9, but Jax and Brittany’s recent statements do in fact imply the show is returning for another season.

Faith, for her part, has been busy selling a Vanderpump Rules-like series featuring a Black-owned boutique in Los Angeles.
