The Real Housewives of Cheshire returns for Season 12 tonight on ITVBe and ahead of tonight’s premiere, new Housewife Lystra Adams opened up to TV Deets exclusively about what to expect from the new season.
How does it feel becoming a Real Housewife of Cheshire?
It feels amazing joining a cast of powerful women.
What can we look forward to from you this season?
Just being myself, being real and straight to the point. I don’t take bullshit, but I am still a very nice person, just straight-talking!
What has been your favourite thing about this season so far?
Getting to know the housewives…it’s interesting. It’s different from seeing it on telly compared to being amongst it.
What do you think you bring to the show that no one else does?
A little bit of spice.
What do you think it means to be a real housewife?
It’s just means being what it is, flamboyant, real and extravagant and at the same time, beautifully grounded.
What has been the most memorable/funniest moment on the show this season so far?
Obviously, me getting into it with another housewife…that’s the one I didn’t expect. Thrown in the deep end, swimming my way to the top.
Which two other housewives would you take to a desert island and why?
Dawn and Tanya, I’d get them to be pals again! That would be nice.
Who do you think would play you in a movie any why?
I would have friends that would definitely play with me…I think I’ve got a couple of girlfriends who would play me.
As previously reported, Lystra was first announced as a full-time cast member just weeks ago and seems excited to be joining the franchise.
“Joining The Real Housewives of Cheshire is a dream come true! Being able to join my friends on screen to share the laughter and witness the drama first hand has been eye opening but I’m not shy, I’m ready for anything!” she said in an official statement at the time.

The new season of RHOCheshire picks up right after the UK lockdown eased and will star Hanna Kinsella, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon, Nicole Sealey, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra, and Tanya Bardsley in addition to Lystra.
