EXCLUSIVE: Jill Zarin is set to make “multiple appearances” on RHONY Season 9 and Bravo is considering bringing her back full-time next year, sources confirm exclusively to TV Deets.

There’s only a few weeks until the show’s April 5th premiere and Jill’s appearance during the trailer has certainly caused a reaction from RHONY fans.

Jill Zarin hasn’t appeared in a full-time capacity on the show since her infamous departure along with Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon, and Cindy Barshop back after Season 4, and this all bodes well for a potential return, we hear.

While one production source maintains that Bethenny Frankel’s presence and status on the show is a deterrent, insiders close to the show explain that nothing could be farther from the truth and that any potential return depends on more than one factor.

“The cast do not have casting approval,” a production source maintains. “The executive producers and network make final casting decisions.”

Additionally, sources also say that a reunion between the former besties isn’t likely but that Jill would like resolution so that viewers are able to move on from their seasons-long feud. “Jill and Bethenny don’t think about each other everyday. Their fight was 5 years ago and it is all old news,” the insider reveals.

“Jill will always love Bethenny.”

While RHONY producers wanted to keep Jill’s return to the show a secret, the news has gotten out to the other Housewives and at this time, it is unclear if she will be welcomed back into the fold—or not.

The Real Housewives Of New York City premieres April 5 on Bravo and Slice.
