Dr. Terry Dubrow Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Former Patient Following Negligence Claims

The 'Botched' star isn't taking the allegations lightly.

Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow has reportedly filed a defamation lawsuit against a former patient, alleging she and her lawyer have made false negligence claims to the press.

Page Six is reporting that Dr. Dubrow has filed a lawsuit against the former patient and her lawyer, alleging that his reputation is being put at risk by the reports. He is claiming that the patient’s lawyer made false claims in order to garner sympathy for his client, hence the defamation lawsuit.

Negligence allegations

Just last week (October 9), news leaked that the longtime reality star was allegedly being extorted by a former patient after she claimed to have been “Botched by Botched” on the operating table, as reported by Page Six.

At the time, the gossip outlet had obtained exclusive court documents that outlined the allegations against the longtime reality star and his response, adding that Terry‘s team has since filed a court order against his former patient Sandy Scoggins.

Dr. Terry Dubrow has reportedly filed a defamation lawsuit against a former patient, alleging she and her lawyer have made false negligence claims to the press.

According to the report, Sandy went in for a routine butt lift last year but has since allegedly demanded the money or else she would go public with her negligence claims against the E! star. Sandy’s lawyer reportedly sent Terry’s team a letter demanding the $5 million amount back in July 2020.

Terry, for his part, denied any negligence and is requesting the issue be brought to arbitration, seeing as the client signed an agreement stating any issues would be dealt with in that manner.

Botched will return to E! sometime next year.
