Dr. Imani Walker Sets Toya Bush-Harris Straight On Social Media During ‘Married To Medicine’: “There Are Definitely More Important Things To Be Concerned About”
The ladies of Married To Medicine Los Angeles may have been given a night off by Bravo due to the network’s decision to hold the next new episode until June 14, but that didn’t stop two of the franchise’s biggest stars from getting into it on social media.
Instead of a new episode of Married To Medicine Los Angeles or The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo aired a special “Watch With the Cast” episode that featured some of the franchise’s stars, like Quad Webb and Toya Bush-Harris, commenting on previous episodes of the show.

Toya seemed to kick things off by responding to a tweet that was actually directed to her by instead throwing Dr. Imani Walker under the bus. (Imani is featured as a full-time cast member on the Los Angeles-based show while Toya is a cast member of the original show set in Atlanta.)
“Omg!!! I forget [sic] how Petty Toya get when she meets a skinny girl with abs,” tweeted @cmjoseph13, referencing and tagging Imani. “@doctor_imani is so super chill and now u calling her angry only b/c she got abs & she CAN wear crop top! Get in gym, don’t hate love u ALL!”
Toya clearly didn’t take too kindly to the comments and responded by throwing some light shade in her co-star’s direction.

“No we said angry, bc she used an angry tone and word like ‘bitch’,” tweeted Toya in response, leaving Imani tagged.
“Go argue amongst yourselves,” tweeted Imani, responding to the insults. There are definitely more important things to be concerned about.”
Instead of leaving things there, Toya decided to respond to Imani one more time. “Of course… why are you tweeting then?” she said, quote-tweeting the post so that all of her followers could see the conversation.
Imani, for her part, continued to take the high road, reminding her co-stars that the platform can be used for more than just drumming up drama for your reality TV show.
“Because I’m on Twitter gathering resources for those wishing to help with the revolution,” she said. “Not gossiping about dumb sh*t.”
Things seemed to taper off there, and neither of the two have added to the conversation on social media since.
While it’s clear that Toya was just throwing some light shade and trying to drum up excitement during last night’s special episode, it’s also clear that Imani is absolutely right: There is just so much going on in the moment and considering the scenes shown on last week’s Married2MedLA, this was an ill-timed attempt at shade by Toya.
Imani isn’t one to play and while we’re sure she is super busy, it was hilarious to see her take just a few minutes out of her day to completely shut down her co-star.
Married To Medicine Los Angeles airs Sundays on Bravo and Slice. The show follows a group of doctors and doctors’ wives in Los Angeles, California, and has aired on Bravo for two seasons.
Married To Medicine is expected to return with a new season later this year and is the original of the franchise. Set in Atlanta, the show follows a diverse group of doctors and doctors’ wives and has also resulted in another spinoff, the one season Married To Medicine Houston.
