Dolores Catania has seemingly addressed the explosive RHONJ Season 12 rumours to hit social media this week, revealing in a new interview that she is “anticipating World War 3” between her co-stars.
“There’s been some incidents that have happened that are definitely cringeworthy and there are things that happened [so far this season] that are going to be very big surprises,” she told Derek Zagami on RealiTEA With Derek Z just today, August 4. “You know, there’s no way to tell, there’s no storyline, like, ‘I saw that coming’.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has notoriously shocked fans in recent years, with Danielle Staub physically assaulting Margaret Josephs during Season 10, and Jackie Goldschneider and Teresa Giudice nearly coming to blows during Season 11 over Teresa’s spreading of cheating rumours about Jackie’s husband Evan Goldschneider, and Jackie’s subsequent use of Gia Giudice’s name alongside a certain illegal substance.
The drama will reach new heights during RHONJ Season 12, with Dolores revealing that she believes the cast has already topped last season. “Once again, I’m going to say we’ve already topped last year and that’s hard to do,” she explained. “Here on the show, this will be my sixth, as you know and I’m like, ‘How are we going to beat last year?’ And the pressure is going on and the drama is going on in our lives but I feel like because we’re very authentic and life unfolds that it just works out for us.”

She continued, “I’m very proud of this year. I’m actually on my way to a scene right now that I’m anticipating—maybe you couldn’t anticipate storylines—but I’m anticipating World War 3 right now. I’m on my way. I’m not kidding. I’m on my way to a scene that is going to be god knows what.”
Cheating allegations brought up on camera
Without addressing the recent online rumours by name, this new interview does read as Dolores’ reaction to the insanity. Earlier this week, news broke that two cast members have gotten into a physical altercation, with one throwing a drink at the other and all roads seem to point between Jennifer Aydin doing the throwing and Margaret Josephs doing the receiving.
According to online sleuths @deuxmoi, not only was there a physical altercation, but one of the Housewives is upset that one of her friends, whom she brought on the show, chose not to defend her. While many are thinking this could be one of the potential new Housewives, our bet is on Margaret’s friend and business partner Lexi, but you didn’t hear that from us.
In subsequent posts on the Instagram gossip page, other insiders have revealed that the drink-throwing has to do with Margaret bringing up cheating rumours about Jennifer’s husband, Bill Aydin. Allegedly. All of these come in the form of blind items, so be sure to take it all with a grain of salt.
While it’s not exactly clear what is true and what is not true about these recent rumours, one thing seems to be a guarantee: RHONJ Season 12 is going to deliver.
