Denise Richards Says She Isn’t Current On This Season of ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’
Denise Richards says she isn’t current on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills despite the show focusing heavily on her relationship with husband Aaron Phypers.
Denise and Aaron shocked RHOBH viewers on last week’s episode when they revealed that due to his line of work, the two believe that pharmaceutical companies have had them followed. (Aaron runs a boutique medical facility where they offer frequency therapy among other alternative treatments).
“I’m a little behind watching the episodes. I actually haven’t seen that episode yet, but I did hear [about it],” responded Denise when asked about the RHOBH storyline by Us Weekly. “We’re going to get all caught up.”
Bravo had been heavily promoting the episode and according to the ratings, it seems to have helped. After watching the episode, however, it’s clear from our point of view that producers were looking to recreate a big moment and Denise and Aaron have found themselves in the middle of it.
“We don’t regret anything,” Denise said of the conversation at the dinner party. “And I think during the dinner, you have to also know your audience, and during the dinner we realized, ‘OK, this isn’t the audience to tell this to, so we’re going to wrap up the conversation.”
“We are ourselves and that’s who we want to be,” she continued. “We don’t want to try and be something we’re not, and it’s part of what he does. So I think it’s OK to talk about it. Like I said, you have to know your audience too and that wasn’t the audience at the dinner table.”
“He’s not a doctor, and he never claimed to be, and he never played one on television either,” she added when asked about Erika Girardi’s comments in her confessional interview.

As previously reported, Denise is at the centre of the drama on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and judging by last week’s episodes and the subsequent interviews given to the press by the Housewives, it looks like things are about to ramp up.
While RHOBH viewers have yet to see things play out on camera, production has alleged that Denise quit filming the show but she has since denied those claims on social media, asking fans to continue to watch.
Aaron’s comments may have seemed a little loopy to viewers but at the end of the day, Denise makes a great point: This just isn’t the right audience. While he seemed somewhat confused in his explanation, that could be because of the spotlight and attention being placed on him because believe it or not, what he was trying to say isn’t actually that off the wall.
Plus, it’s easy for Erika and the other women, like Lisa Rinna, to go after Denise and Aaron when their husbands wouldn’t show up to a group event on RHOBH unless it were their own vow renewals.
Regardless, the drama with Denise and Aaron is a welcome switch up from previous seasons of RHOBH and it will be interesting to see how she navigates the show—and her relationships with the other women—this season.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays on Bravo and Slice.
