Davina Potratz Reveals She Has Quit The Oppenheim Group — Is She Leaving ‘Selling Sunset’ Too?

"I certainly hope that I'm still part of the cast," she said about her exit.

Davina Potratz has revealed in a new interview that she has quit The Oppenheim Group, paving the way for her potentially to leave Selling Sunset, too.

In a new and exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Davina dishes on her move to rival company Douglas Elliman, which she says is just the next step in her budding real estate career.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division,” she told PEOPLE in a statement, explaining that she was already familiar with the brokerage and was presented a really amazing offer to join the group.

“My background is in new development sales and marketing, so this is just a wonderful opportunity for me,” she explained. “It’s just very in tune with my skills.”

Davina’s decision to join Douglas Elliman has to have shocked her Selling Sunset crew but apparently there is no bad blood, as Jason Oppenheim only had positive things to say to PEOPLE about his former team member.

“Davina has always been a tremendous asset and a valued agent at the Oppenheim Group, and she is also a friend whose career decisions I very much respect and support,” he said in a statement. “I will always want the best for Davina, and I hope that we continue to work together in the future.”

Davina Potratz may have quit The Oppenheim Group, but that doesn’t mean she’s out at Selling Sunset just yet.

While Jason seems supportive, Davina’s co-stars are set to learn the news via the press which probably won’t go over well, although she doesn’t seem too worried. “We all know each other so well. So I think they’ll be excited and supportive,” she said, adding, “It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision.”

Regardless of her move to Douglas Elliman, Davina says she hasn’t parted ways with the Netflix reality show just yet.

“I certainly hope that I’m still part of the cast,” she said of her move and the show’s upcoming fourth season. “Brett [Oppenheim] is not at the Oppenheim Group anymore either, so I don’t think that that’s going to be an issue at all.”

As previously reported, Selling Sunset is expected to return for Season 4 after a few of the cast members teased renewal news on Instagram. While Netflix certainly likes to keep plot lines under wraps, it looks and sounds like Season 4 may already be in production or is close to it, and we imagine all of these changes are going to be captured on the new season.

Selling Sunset will reportedly return to Netflix in Spring 2021.
