Dancing With The Stars duo Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko are denying they are having an affair after rumours about Gleb’s marriage to Elena Samodanova surfaced over the weekend.
Just last week, it was revealed that Gleb and his wife Elena were splitting and attention immediately turned to his DWTS partner and the Selling Sunset reality star after his soon-to-be ex accused the two of having an affair. However, Chrishell took to her Instagram Story to deny anything inappropriate was going on between them, according to Entertainment Tonight.
“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone,” she posted.
“As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more,” she continued. “I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”

Gleb, for his part, is also speaking out, releasing a statement directly calling into question his ex-wife’s motivations.
“While I will continue to respect the privacy of my family, I will not stand by and allow false accusations and internet rumors go unaddressed,” he said, according to PEOPLE. “My relationship with Chrishell was and remains strictly platonic. Our friendship during our season on DWTS was not the reason for our split. Elena and I have had longstanding issues in our marriage. This has been an ongoing situation between Elena and I paired with poor timing.”
He added, “It was my deepest hope to keep our private life just that: private. I am saddened and disappointed to see that Elena has chosen not to do the same.”
Chrishell’s rep echoed Gleb’s statement, further denying the affair. “Any insinuation or accusation that Chrishell is in any way involved in the dissolution of Gleb and Elena’s marriage is 100% categorically false,” the reality star’s rep said, according to the gossip mag. “To be clear: Chrishell and Gleb are in no way, and have never been in any way, romantically involved.”
As previously reported, Chrishell is most known for her time on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, which has been documenting her dramatic divorce from This Is Us actor Justin Hartley.
